1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (Hereinafter “Policy”) regulates the use of the websites namely, www.wepsol.com, www.wepgst.com , trp.wepgst.com, www.wepmyshop.com and any other portals that we may add in future which are individually and collectively hereinafter referred to as “Wepsol”.

Wepsol recognizes the importance of maintaining your privacy. We value your privacy and appreciate your trust in us. This Policy describes how we treat user information we collect on Wepsol and other offline sources. As part of our role as a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP), we may collect information necessary to comply with Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) regulations, including but not limited to taxpayer IP logs, system access trails, and API interaction metadata.

We may collect, store or process information and data as required under applicable laws and regulations of India and also based on your use of our services and our business relationship with you.

By accessing or using our Platform and Services, you expressly consent to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. Subject to applicable laws, these terms will be deemed effective retrospectively from the date of your initial use of the Platform. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform and its Services.

By continuing to use the Platform, you confirm that you are either the lawful owner of, or have been duly authorized to use and share, any personal or other information submitted to or collected by the Platform. You also affirm that your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or contractual obligation, nor does it infringe upon the rights or interests of any third party.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 When you use our Platform or Services, we collect a range of personal and professional details, including your name, contact details, identity documents (e.g., PAN), financial and business details (e.g., GSTIN, TAN, business name and address), and other relevant data to verify your identity and enable service delivery. We are not responsible for verifying the authenticity of the information you provide.

2.2 We collect your mobile number and email address for communication purposes, including service updates and notifications.

2.3 To assist with return filing under the Goods and Services Tax Law, we collect financial details that are required for the purpose of filing the requisite Returns.

Wepsol does not collect any Sensitive Personal Data or Information about a visitor to our platform unless voluntarily provided by the Visitor.

Use of Information for GST Filing Services

GST filing services available through our platform are provided by WeP Solutions Limited, (“Wepsol”), a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP) under the guidelines issued by the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN).

By availing GST services on our platform, you expressly authorise Wepsol to access, collect, store, and process your personal, business, and GST-related information as necessary to:

  1. Facilitate GST return filing on your behalf;
  2. Register or manage your GST profile;
  3. Retrieve relevant return data and GST compliance information;
  4. Access and process invoices, Form GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and related filings;
  5. Perform any additional functions required to discharge its duties as a GSP.

Such access and processing shall be strictly limited to the scope necessary for delivering the GST filing services and complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

3. SHARING OF INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES

i) We may share information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. We will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We may also share it if a government agency or investigatory body requests. Or, we might also share information when we are investigating potential fraud.

ii) We may share information with any successor to all or part of our business. For example, if part of our business is sold we may give our customer list as part of that transaction.

Except as set out in this privacy policy, we will not disclose any personally identifiable information without your permission unless we are legally entitled or required to do so or unless we believe that such action is necessary to protect and/or defend our rights, property or personal safety and those of our users/customers or other individuals.

Information shall be shared, without obtaining prior consent, with Government agencies mandated under the Law to obtain information including Sensitive Personal Data or other information for the purpose of verification of identity, or for prevention, detection, investigation including cyber incidents, prosecution, and punishment of offences.

Wepsol and its authorized third-party service providers shall not store or retain any unauthorized information related to taxpayers accessing GSTN systems.

Taxpayer data used for compliance purposes shall be securely destroyed or anonymized once its intended use is completed.

We mandate these obligations contractually to all third-party service providers engaged by us.

5. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy is subject to periodical updates and we reserve the right to update, modify and amend the Policy terms from time to time. 6. IDENTITY THEFT
